   科学院云南天文台 “太阳活动与CME理论研究团组基于发展需要,公开招聘博士后一名。本研究组主要从事太阳活动及爆发现象的理论研究,探讨制约这些过程的磁流体动力学(MHD)的基本原理,认识和了解太阳活动和爆发的物理本质和产生机理,对太阳风暴的形成及其对地球周围空间电磁环境(或空间天气)的扰动做出准确预报。 

  研究课题: 

  太阳低层大气小尺度活动的磁流体动力学数值模拟和理论研究。 

  应聘条件: 

  1. 具有天体物理、计算数学、理论物理、或相关学科领域的博士学位,具有较强的独立工作能力,专业知识扎实。 

  2. 热爱程序研发,具有较强的编程能力。熟练掌握C/C++Fortran,或Python, 对求解偏微分方程的各种高级算法有一定的了解,熟悉数据结构算法以及数据可视化技巧。 

  3. 有强烈的事业心和远大抱负,具有良好的团队协作精神和交流沟通能力,身心健康,能稳定工作。可尽快到岗者优先。 

  博士后期间的职责:开发和优化磁流体动力学程序(70%工作量),开展针对太阳低层大气小尺度活动的磁流体动力学数值模拟和理论研究(30%工作量) 

  薪酬待遇20-30万元/年,可提供云南天文台本部人才公寓住房一套居住。

  Opening of a Postdoctoral Position on Computational Solar Physics at YNAO 

    

  A postdoctoral fellowship is available in theoretical studies of Solar Activities and Eruptions group in Yunnan Observatories. The group mainly focuses on investigations of solar activities and eruptions, looking into the basic mechanisms of different kinds of activities in the solar atmosphere, understanding the physics of the impact of solar eruptions on the Earth and the nearby environment.  

    

  Position description: 

  One of the research projects of the group is about numerical studies of small scale solar activities in the low solar atmosphere, in which radiative cooling, strong density stratification and partial ionization effects are important. The postdoc will help the researcher in this group to develop magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) codes according to the needs of performing this project. 

    

  Requirements: 

  1.      The successful applicant must have a PhD degree in astrophysics, computational mathematics, theoretical physics, or in the related fields.  

  2.      The successful applicant should be good at developing the MHD code, or possesses the potential in coding. They should be familiar with C/C++, Fortran, and/or Python, have the basic knowledge about the advanced algorithms for solving partial differential equations, and are capable of dealing with algorithms of the data structure and capable of visualizing data. 

  3.      The successful applicant should have strong aspirations on their careers, have the team work spirit, and can communicate well with colleagues. 

    

  Salary and benefits: 

  The salary is between RMB200,000 to RMB300,000 per year. An apartment for rent in the institute is available.
