Abstract:  

   The talk is divided in two parts. Firstly, a short statistics of presenceof variable 

stars in open clusters and introducing of the catalogue is given. Secondly, the project 

EVRENA concentrating on eclipsing binary studies inyoung open clusters and an example of 

its results is presented.
