Conference Events

A welcoming reception will be provided with snacks and beverage at the Hanshange Hotel bar from 7:00 to 9:00pm on 29th March.

A one-day tour will be arranged as part of the conference. The tour includes a visit to the Yak Meadow in the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain , the Baisha murals, and  Shuhe Old Town.  

The Jade Snow Mountain owns the gorgeous "Twelve Scenes" such as the "Fog in March" and the "Cloud Belt in June". The main peak Shanzifeng (Mount Fan), and Xianjiyan, Wohuping, Luxuedongtian, Yunshanping, etc. are among the places opened up for sightseeing. The broad pastures on the mountainsides (Dragon Spruce Meadow) is truly a "God-made snow mountain garden" carpeted with thousands of colourful flowers and green grasses.

Shuhe Old Town is called "the hometown of springs". It is at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) has listed it as an important component of Lijiang as it is a well-preserved example of a town along the ancient tea route and one of the earliest settlements of the ancestors of Naxi people.

The cost of the reception, tour (with lunch and dinner) and banquet is included in the registration fee.
