The Second Workshop for Exoplanetary Systems: Discovery and Characterization
Organized by Yunnan Observatories & Key laboratory for the structure and evolution ofthe celestial objects, Chinese Academy of Sciences
January26-28, 2018, Kunming, China
Second Announcement
The study for exoplanetary systems is the most promising research field in modern astronomy. To push the localdevelopment on the research field of exoplanetary systems in China, we plan to hold the second one of this series of workshops in Kunming from January 26 to 28, 2018.Its topics will focus on the discovery, characterization of exoplanetary systems, and other relative issues, including RV, transit, direct imaging detection, precisesystem parameters, planet atmosphere, transittiming variation (TTV), activity of host stars, planet formation, etc. The workshop will bring the foreign researchers and the local ones together to discuss the status, progress and future direction of exoplanet research.
